5th grade Teamwork

Happy Wednesday!

Here is what we did today:

*We had a recycling convocation today and we took a math test.

Thanks to the parents who came in to cover our classes so that we could have some needed collaboration time during our lunch. You are great!

In Mrs. D's class we worked on clauses and phrases. Spelling workbook and test are tomorrow. We worked on our PhD report in class. We also watched a video dealing with diversity and we did a writing activity with it.

In Mr. H's class we read Dear Mr. Henshaw in our reading book. We did a creative writing activity. Spelling books are due and spelling test tomorrow. We also worked on clauses and phrases in English.

In Mr. P's class we worked on spelling pictures due tomorrow along with book and crossword puzzles. We learned from Bill Nye about gravity and momentum. We also learned from Tim and Mobey about potential and kinetic energy. We continued to work on our test questions for Brian's Winter. We also worked with phrases and clauses.
