5th grade Teamwork

Happy Wednesday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: Today we discussed LCM and changing mixed numbers to imporper fractions. Problem set 113 was assigned and is due on Thursday.

Science: Today we began our discussion on illegal drugs.

Social Studies: Today we reviewed the Revolutionary War and we began discussion the Constitution.

In Mrs. D's class we read up to page 69 in our Early Sunday Morning book. We continued our review of our language skills and we also had the laptop computer lab and we continued to work on our PhD reports. We also did a writing activity in class.

In Mr. H's class we read from an old reading text book the story Night of the Twister. We also had a weather discussion. We also completed a writing activity in class. We completed a review over our fourth quarter skills. Spelling workbook pages are due on Thursday.

In Mr. P's class we completed a review over fourth quarter skills and discussed it as well. We completed a reading comprehension activity with Dear Mr. Henshaw. We also listened to the story again. We will have a test and a vocab test over this story on Friday. We also drew eight spelling pictures due on Friday and we took a spelling pretest. We also wrote a journal about things we liked and did not like this year and how we could change them.
