5th grade Teamwork

Happy Monday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: Today we discussed scale drawings. Each student had a choice of doing a scale drawing, make a model or use a map. The choice is due on Wednesday.

Science/Health: Today we began our discussion of medicines and drugs.

Social Studies: We did a review of the unit on the Revolutionary War from the end of the chapter.

In Mrs. D's class we took our spelling unit 34 pretest. We worked on our PhD report. We had the portable lab in our room to work on typing our reports. The final drafts are due next week. We also went to the library.

In Mr. H's class we previewed our unit 34 spelling words. We completed a writing activity in class and we read from The Golden Lion Tamarin in our reading book. We also completed a paragraph correction sheet.

In Mr. P's class we previewed Dear Mr. Henshaw and completed the vocabulary for the story due tomorrow. We took a spelling pretest and completed five times each. Workbook pages 206-211 were assigned and are due on Friday. We reviewed our paragraph correction sheet. We also began our end of the year review.
