5th grade Teamwork

Happy Thursday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: Today we took a test over skills previously taught.

Science: Today we discussed how atoms combine. We also discussed electrons, neutrons and protons.

Social Studies: Today we watched and discussed a DVD dealing with the events that lead up to the Revolutionary War. We read pages 280-285.

In Mrs. D's class we went to the book fair. There were a lot of great books. We turned in our spelling books and we worked on putting things in our binders. We also continued to work on Number the Stars. We also completed band instrument testing.

In Mr. H's class we read chapters 4 and 5 in George Washington's socks. We graded our workbook pages and final test is tomorrow. We also went to the book fair. We also completed a paragraph correction sheet.

In Mr. P's class we read chapters 11-15 in The River. We also did some writing along with the story. We also completed spelling word searches and we also completed band instrument testing and went to the book fair.
