5th grade Teamwork

Happy Thursday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: Today we reveiwed adding and subtracting whole numbers and decimals. Problem set 99 was assinged and is due on Friday.

Science: Today we finished talking about mixtures and solutions. We also had a chapter 11 lessons 3 and 4 review. Mr. H's class did the chapter review and will have their test on Monday. The other two classes will have their tests on Tuesday.

Social Studies: Today we continued with our LEAD program dealing with laws.

In Mrs. D's class we continued to work on our Number the Stars projects. We should be working on the 4th section of the book by now. We turned in our spelling workbook pages and our test will be tomorrow. We went to the library and continued our work with adjectives.

In Mr. H's class we continued reading in George Washington's Socks chapters 15-17. We graded our workbook pages in spelling. We went to the library and we also continued the use on parts of speech.

In Mr. P's class we finished reading The River. We compared Brian's hardship to a time in our lives when we had a hardship. We completed our spelling crossword puzzles. We also went to the library.
