5th grade Teamwork

Happy Monday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: Today we discussed using estimation to help up divide. Problem set 94 was assigned and is due on Tuesday.

Science: Today we reviewed our tests from before Spring Break. We filled out parts of an SQ4R sheet on chapter 11 dealing with properties of matter. We also did the vocabulary words on page 339 due tomorrow and tested on Friday.

Social Studies: We had a recap of Arlington. We also had a recap of current events as well.

In Mrs. D's class we took a spelling pretest over unit 28. We went to the library and computer lab. We did some sharing about our spring break. We began readign Number the Stars as well.

In Mr. H's class we started reading a new story. We began lesson 28 and we wrote the words three times each and we also did a writing activity. We also rearranged the room for the last time we hope.

In Mr. P's class we took a spelling pretest and assigned the spelling book due on Friday, we worked on a cross words puzzle and wrote our words five times each. We began reading chapterss 1 and 2 in The River. We also went to the library and we also did a writing activity.
