5th grade Teamwork

Happy Wednesday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: Today we reviewed prime and composite number and also adding and subtracting decimals. The students had an assignment and the opportunity for extra credit as well.

Science: We took a quiz over lessons 4 and 5.

Social Studies: We discussed lesson one in chapter 8 pages 268-272 dealing with the French and Indian War. The students had to write down three important facts.

In Mrs. D's class we completed an activity dealing with prefixes and suffixes. We also continued to use the portable lab to type our poems. Our books should be complete very soon! We also reviewed conjunctions and clauses.

In Mr. H's class we finished reading Twenty and Ten. We made spelling pictures and the workbook pages are due tomorrow. We also had a writing activity. We also reviewed conjunctions and clauses.

In Mr. P's class we took a spelling pretest. We drew 8 spelling pictures due on Friday. We read part two of Black Cowboys Wild Horses and we had a comprehension check sheet as well. We wrote in our journal about spring break. We also reviewed conjunctions and clauses.
