5th grade Teamwork

Happy Tuesday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: Today we discussed Improper Fractions. Problem set 91 was assigned and is due on Wednesday.

Science: Today we discussed how species change. For homework the students were to think of two animals with structual and two with behavioral adaptations. These are to be listed with their adaptations.

Social Studies: Today we read and discussed lesson three dealing with taxation.

In Mrs. D's class we worked on subject - verb agreement. We worked on our spelling workbook pages that are due on Friday. We also had a visit from Mrs. K dealing with fairness. We also read some of Mae Jemison.

In Mr. H's class we read chapters 15-17 in Running Out of Time. We took a spelling pretest and worked on workbook pages. We completed pages 311-312 in the old book dealing with Encyclopedias. We also went to the library.

In Mr. P's class we read the rest of the story Elena. We answered questions 2-4-5-6 at the end of the story. We went to the computer lab. We also did a writing activity. We also did spelling sentences due tomorrow.
