Happy Tuesday!
Here is what we did today:
Math: We discussed transformations, slides, flips and turns. Problem set 88 was assigned and is due on Wednesday. We also looked at the new problem of the week.
Science: We discussed the nitrogen cycle and also began talking about the Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen cycle. We are looking at a test on Monday over the entire chapter.
Social Studies: We began our March Madness discussion. We talked about History and basketball. We also talked about lesson two from our text book dealing with the conclusion of the French and Indian war.
In Mrs. D's class we discussed verbs and had an activity due tomorrow. We worked on our spelling workbooks for unit 26 and also created word searches and or cross word puzzles. We began working on our new story The Fear Place as well.
In Mr. H's class we read Running Out of Time chapter 5. We took our spelling pretest for unit 26 and workbook pages are due on Thursday. We did a review in English dealing with adverb and adjectives. We also continued to finish our rough draft of our writing activity.
In Mr. P's class we went to the computer lab. We reread Pioneer Girl for fluency and for our test tomorrow. We also did an activity over quotation marks. We also started working on our spelling sentences due tomorrow.
