5th grade Teamwork

Happy Monday!

Math: Today we worked on line graphs. The students had a writing assignment dealing with line graphs today due on Tuesday.

Science: Today we reviewed our test from Friday and we reviewed chapter 6 vocab for our test this Friday. We went over lesson 1 in chapter six dealing with how ecosystems change.

Social Studies: Today we discussed lesson 3 in chapter 7 dealing with the English control over the new colonies.

In Mrs. D's class we took our spelling pretest and wrote our words we missed three times each. We went to the computer lab and the library. We started reading Mae Jemison in class and will finish it tomorrow.

In Mr. H's class we read chapters 11 and 12 in Running Out of Time. Lesson 27 words were introduced and the workbook pages were assigned. We had a paragraph correcting sheet. Today was the final chance to turn in the final copy of our writing activity.

In Mr. P's class we continued Elena in reading. We also had workbook pages 165-169 in spelling due on Friday. Five times each was also assigned for tomorrow and we took a pretest. We also created a crossword puzzle for unit 27. We continued working with quotation marks. Quotation mark test on Friday.
