5th grade Teamwork

Happy Thursday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: Today we worked on Mean, Median, Mode and Range. Ask your child the difference between these measures of central tendancy. Problem set 84 was assigned and is due on Friday.

Science: Today you reviewed lesson 1-2 and 3 of chapter 5. We completed a review sheet and will have a quiz tomorrow.

Social Studies: We took a test over chapter 6.

In Mrs. D's class we continued our work on poetry. We are doing different types of poetry and they are really enjoying this. We have a spelling test tomorrow and our workbook pages are due tomorrow. We also went to the library.

In Mr. H's class we went to the library. Spelling books and test are tomorrow. We worked on a spelling activity as well. We read chapters 21-23 in Snow Treasure. We reviewed page 277 in English and worked on A, B, and C as well.

In Mr. P's class we read part one of Pioneer Girl and discussed. We worked on spelling pictures due tomorrow as well as workbook due tomorrow. Spelling test will be tomorrow. We reviewed our reading vocab for our test tomorrow. We also went to the library. We also did a writing activity dealing with main and subordinate clauses.
