Happy Monday!
Here is what we did today:
Math: Today we continued our work with Greatest Common Factor. The students seem to be catching on to how this is used and how to do it! Problem set 82 was assigned and is due on Tuesday.
Science: We finished discussing Biomes and we watched some Brain Pop clips on the different Biomes. We have a worksheet over lesson 1 and 2 due tomorrow.
Social Studies: We read and discussed lesson 3 on pages 224-227 dealing with the Westward Movement.
In Mrs. D's class we began working on a unit in Poetry. We will be working on this for the next two weeks. We went to the computer lab and library. We also took a spelling pretest over unit 23 words.
In Mr. H' s class we continued reading in Snow Treasure chapters 17-18. We wrote our spelling words three times each. We read pages 250-254 in the old English book and page 274 parts ABC due tomorrow.
In Mr. P's class we looked at spelling workbook pages 140-145 due on Friday and we wrote five times each and we took a pretest. We worked on the vocab for our new story Pioneer Girl. We had a visit from Mrs. K dealing with honesty and we also went to the library.
