Happy Wednesday!
Here is what we did today:
Math: we discussed fractions equal to one and subtracting fractions from 1. Problem set 60 was assigned and is due on Thursday. Test on Thursday!
Science: We finished completing the chart on vertebrates. We also had a homework review sheet on classification and vertebrates. Vocab test on Friday!
Social Studies: We concluded discussing the explorers. We will have a test on Monday!
In Mrs. D's class spelling books will be due on Friday this week. We completed our vocabulary pictures and sentences. We read chapters 4 and 5 in Running Out of Time. We will have a quiz over the first 5 chapters tomorrow. We used the mobile computer lab and wrote ten spelling sentences for practice.
In Mr. H's class we read chapters 11 and 12 in Shiloh Season. We completed a paragraph correction sheet. We went to the computer lab and we did a writing activity. Spelling book due tomorrow.
In Mr. P's class we finished reading the story Volcanoes and we completed our graphic organizer. We also answered some comprehension questions. We took our second spelling test. We wrapped up smilies and began discussing metaphors. We wrote our closing paragraphs on our persuasive essays.
