5th grade Teamwork

Happy Wednesday!

Here is what we did today!

Math: Today we worked on triple digit multiplication. Problem set 55 was assigned and is due on Thursday.

Science: We took our planet quiz and then we discussed the sun and stars.

Social Studies: We had a big current event discussion. This will lead us into the three branches of government.

In Mrs. D's class we worked on vocabulary for our next story Earthquake Terror. We wrote pictures and sentences for each of our vocabulary words. We worked on our spelling papers and we wrote a journal entry on things we are thankful for.

In Mr. H's class we finished reading The City of Ember. We went to the computer lab. We also worked on paragraph corrections and we watched a short video on Columbus.

In Mr. P's class we took a spelling pretest and worked on spelling pictures that are due on Friday. We wrote our closing sentences for our five paragraph paper and edited them. We worked on summarizing different parts of the story Eye of the Storm. We continued and finished working on run on sentences.
