Happy Election Day!
Here is what we did today!
Math: We worked on double digit multiplication. We worked on the BOB 51 on page 647 evens. We will continue to practice more tomorrow.
Science: The students read in groups on how to conserve resources and then we discussed how to conserve resources. A review sheet will be handed out tomorrow and the position paper and a test will be on Friday.
Social Studies: We discussed the explorers Balboa and Magellon. We added these to our chart. Reminder that tomorrow is a work day on the Explorer's report!
In Mrs. D's class we worked on an SQ4R chart on the story Eye of the Storm. We worked on our spelling book unit 11. We also finished typing our essays. We also worked on vocabulary for the story Eye of the Storm.
In Mr. H's class read chapters 7 and 8 in The City of Ember. We took our spelling pretest and assigned the workbook pages 68-71 unit 11. We also went to the library.
In Mr. P' class we created ten spelling sentences due tomorrow. We also worked on spelling pages 68-70. We also went to the computer lab to finish typing our five paragraph essays. We also went to the library and had Mrs. Kaufman talk about responsibility.
