5th grade Teamwork

Happy Tuesday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: We reviewed dividing and writing remainders as mixed numbers. Problem set 58 is due on Wednesday.

Science: We discussed the vertebrates, mammals, birds, and reptiles. Study! Vocab quiz on Friday.

Social Studies: We took a quiz over the explorers using the notes that should have been taken during class. We also discussed the story of Roanoke.

In Mrs. D's class we continued working on vocabulary for Running Out of Time. We started reading and discussing the book chapters 1 and 2. We discussed smilies in class and worked on an activity. Our spelling pages are due on Thursday.

In Mr. H's class we read chapters 9 and 10 in Shiloh Season. We took a pretest over unit 13 and pages 80-83 were assigned and are due on Thursday. We also worked on a friendly letter.

In Mr. P's class we read part one of the story Volcanoes and we completed a graphic organizer. We completed eight spelling pictures. We went to the computer lab to finish publishing our five paragraph paper on a person. We also reviewed smilies.
