Happy Tuesday!
Here is what we did today:
Math: Today we worked on dividing by multiples of ten. Problem set 54 was assigned and is due on Wednesday.
Science: Today we looked at our position papers and we had a debate on them. Our planet quiz was moved to tomorrow.
Social Studies: Today we had another workday for our explorers report. The final report is due next Wednesday.
In Mrs. D's class we worked on our spelling books. We worked on using conjunctions and correcting run on sentences. We wrote thank you notes to our fire prevention visitors. We also had a visit from Mrs. Kaufman talking about responsibility.
In Mr. P's class we began working spelling workbook page's 75-78 and we wrote twenty spelling sentences using spelling words of their choice. We talked about simple subjects and predicates and complete subjects and predicates. We wrote our supporting sentences for our five paragraph paper. We also went to the computer lab.
In Mr. H's class we had a spelling pretest and workbook pages 74-77 was assigned. We did a review of quotations and character, setting and plot. WE also read chapters 16-17 in The City of Ember. We also had a visit from Mrs. Kaufman and we also went to the library.
