Happy Thursday!
Here is what we did today:
Math: Today we discussed naming numbers through billions and we reviewed multiplying double digit numbers as well. Problem set 52 was assigned and is due on Friday.
Science: We went over the review sheet that are going to be the same questions that are going to be on the test. Remember that the position papers are due tomorrow and also we will have a test.
Social Studies: Today we discussed Cortez, Pizzaro and Juan Ponce DeLeon and added them to our chart on Explorers. Tomorrow we will have a continuing work day.
In Mrs D's class we discussed the Eye of the Storm story and we completed our SQ4R sheet. We also had comprehension questions to do and we also discussed text tracking and conjunctions. Spelling test tomorrow and we also went to the library today!
In Mr. H's class we read chapters 13-14 in The City of Ember. We turned in our spelling workbook pages and we will have a test tomorrow. We also had an English worksheet on nouns and we had a fun writing activity.
In Mr. P's class we listened to Eye of the Storm and discussed the questions at the end of the story and we wrote a summary of the story for a grade in class. We also reviewed our I versus me sheet and the rest of the workbook in spelling was assigned. We also went to the library today! Reading vocab test tomorrow.
