5th grade Teamwork

Happy Thursday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: We took a test today! The students really worked hard today!

Science: We watched a video on classifying living things and we discussed invertebrates. Vocab test tomorrow.

Social Studies: We began to prepare for our test that will be Monday or Tuesday. This is the conclusion to our Explorer's unit. We have been using the old textbooks for this review in class.

In Mrs. D's class we will turn in our spelling books tomorrow and we will take a test. We went to the library. We took a quiz over the first five chapters in Running Out of Time. We read the next chapter and we used the portable computer lab in class to work on our typing skills.

In Mr. H's class we finished our book Shiloh Season. We will have a quiz tomorrow over what we have read so far. Our spelling workbook was turned in today. We will have a test tomorrow. We went to the library. We also completed a paragraph correction sheet. We worked on a friendly letter today discussing the proper form.

In Mr. P's class we will turn in our spelling workbooks and spelling pictures tomorrow and we will also have a test. We wrote a letter to Santa persuading him not to cancel Christmas. We also had a comprehension sheet dealing with our Volcanoes story. We will have a vocab and reading test tomorrow. We also went to the library.
