5th grade Teamwork

Happy Thursday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: Today we worked on finding averages. We had problem set 50 to do today and it is due on Friday. We will have a test on Friday.

Science: We discussed alternative energy sources such as sun, wind and water. Homework it to read pages 312-313, complete lesson 1 and 2 review sheet and study for the vocab test. Test tomorrow!

Social Studies: We concluded our discussion on Columbus. We also discussed that we have to have our topic picked out by tomorrow.

In Mrs. D's class we finished reading The People of Sparks. WE also handed in our spelling

In Mr. H's class we read pages 60-70 in The City of Ember. We turned in our spelling books and we also had paragraph correcting. We also went to the library.

In Mr. P's class completed eight spelling pictures. We reread Earthquake Terror for fluency and for comprehension for the test tomorrow. We did a pronoun challenge activity that is due tomorrow. We also learned how to write our closing paragraph.
