5th grade Teamwork

Happy Thursday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: We reviewed dividing by multiples of ten. We had a review in the back of our book lesson 54. Test tomorrow.

Science: We watched a video on the stars and planets. Test will be on Wednesday.

Social Studies: Today we watched a video about Early Spanish Explorers.

In Mrs. D's class we turned in our spelling books and we will have a test on Friday. We went to the library and checked out new books. We worked on Earthquake Terror and vocabulary and some comprehension skills. We also worked on base words.

In Mr. H's class we took a test over The City of Ember. We had a reading comprehension sheet. We also began a new book Shiloh Season. We graded our spelling workbook and our test will be on Friday. We also had an English worksheet dealing with pronouns. We also went to the library.

In Mr. P's class we continued working on spelling book and spelling pictures that are due on Friday. We will have our test on Friday. We worked on summarizing and picking out main ideas. Test tomorrow in reading. We wrote our opening paragraph for our five paragraph paper. We went over our run on sheet as well. We also went to the library.
