Happy Monday!
Here is what we did today:
Math: Today we began talking about simple probability. Problem set 57 was assigned and is due on Tuesday.
Science: Today we began discussing the classification system of living organisms. For homework are the seven vocabulary words on page three in the text book.
Social Studies: Today we concluded the last of the Explorers. We listened to a story about the mystery of the missing Roanoke colony. We will have a quiz over the Explorers tomorrow or Wednesday! Be ready!
In Mrs. D's we began a new book Running Out of Time and we looked at the vocabulary that we will encounter in the book. We went to the computer lab and library. We also had a spelling pretest over unit 13.
In Mr. H's class we read through chapter 8 in Shiloh Season. Spelling unit 13 page 80. Workbook pages will be due on Thursday! We also did an in class writing activity.
In Mr. P's class we took our spelling pretest and had ten spelling sentences to complete for Tuesday. We wrote our introductions for our persuasive essays. We completed the vocab for the story Volcanoes. We also did an activity sheet on smilies. We also went to the library.
