5th grade Teamwork

Happy Thursday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: Today we discussed quadrilaterals and we also worked on measuring with a ruler. Problem set 45 was assigned and is due on Friday. We also will take a test on Friday

Science: We handed in lesson 5/6 review. We then paired and did the chapter review in the book to prepare for tomorrow's test. We went over the answers at the end of class so they can study tonight.

Social Studies: We continued to discuss and chart the early explorers such as Diaz and daGama.

In Mrs. D's class we read chapter 23 in the People of Sparks. We also worked on run on sentences. We turned in our spelling book and we went to the library.

In Mr. H's class we read chapter 2 in The City of Ember. We went over our spelling book. We did an in class writing. We also went to the library.

In Mr. P's class we read Earthquake Terror in class and discussed this story from our textbook. We did an activity on pronouns. We worked on our spelling workbooks that are due tomorrow. We also went to the library. We will have a vocab test on Friday as well.
