5th grade Teamwork

Happy Friday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: Today we took a test over skills learned so far this year. No homework!

Science: Today we took a quiz over the layers of the Earth. We then read and discussed about volcanoes and earthquakes. We also had a lesson 1 and 2 review sheet for homework. Also remember that weather sheets are due on Monday.

Social Studies: Today we took a chapter two test. This was an open book test so hopefully that will help with the grades!

In Mrs. D's class we worked on more irregular verbs. We read chapter 15 in The People of Sparks. We also took our spelling test and we had our pictures taken.

In Mr. H's class we had some reading time to read our new library books. We had a paragraph correction sheet. We had our final spelling test. We had our pictures taken.

In Mr. P's class we finished discussing chapter 19 in Running Out of Time and we read chapters 20-21. We are going to start working on Topic sentences for our five paragraph paper and we did a paragraph correction sheet. We also took our spelling test.
