Happy Wednesday!
Here is what we did today:
Math: We had an investigation today dealing with fractions.
Science: We took a test over Chapter 7 dealing with water.
Social Studies: We continued our discussion on chapter 2 lesson 1 dealing with early mankind crossing the Bering Straigt. Our discussion was, was this possible.
In Mrs. D's class we read from the People of Sparks. We also had two comprehension worksheets. We dealt with run on sentences in English.
In Mr. H's class we read from The Mixed Up Files chapters 4 and 5. We went over simple subjects today and we also continued to work on our spelling book.
In Mr. P's class we discussed chapter 5 in Running Out of Time and we took a quiz over chapters 1-5. We read pages 40-53 for tomorrow. We began prewriting a how to paragraph. We also discussed homographs there, their and they're. We also took a pretest in spelling
