Happy Thursday!
Here is what we did today:
Math: We discussed lines today in class. Problem set 31 was assigned and is due on Friday.
Science: We discussed how air moves and had seven vocabulary words on page 227 for homework.
Social Studies: We discussed early civilizations and if they truly existed. We also discussed woolly mammoths and the connection with Marshall county.
In Mrs. D's class we read and discussed The People of Sparks and we had comprehension questions to answer. We discussed types of sentences and how to punctuate them correctly. We also will have a spelling test tomorrow!
In Mr. H's class we read chapters 4 and 5 in The Mixed UP Files and we answered comprehension questions. We continued simple subjects and we had an assignment dealing with this topic. Spelling test over unit 6 is tomorrow.
In Mr. P's class we discussed chapters 6 and 7 and read chapters 8 and 9 in Running Out of Time. We continued working on there, their and they're and had a worksheet to complete for tomorrow. We worked on transition words in our writing and wrote a how to paragraph. Spelling pictures, books and test is tomorrow. Vocab test tomorrow.
