Happy Monday!
The ISTEP tests are finally over!
Here is what we did today:
Math: We discussed common fractions and percents. Problem set 30 was assigned and is due on Tuesday. We will have a test on Tuesday as well.
Science: We reviewed notes for lesson 4 on clouds. We will review tomorrow and there will be on Wednesday.
Social Studies: We watched a video over the constitution. Mr. H was absent today.
In Mrs. D's class we began our new book The People of Sparks. We discussed some vocabulary and began to read the book together. We also went to the computer lab, library and took the Pilot ISTEP test. Spelling unit 6 was assigned and is due on Thursday.
In Mr. P's class we read chapter one in Running Out of Time. We will read chapter 2 and 3 for homework. We began working on homographs like to, too and two. We also took a pilot ISTEP test and we went to the library! Spelling workbook pages were assigned for unit 6.
In Mr. H's class we continued to read from The Mixed Up Files pages 21-36. We copied our spelling words and workbook pages were assigned and are due on Thursday. We also discussed simple subject and common nouns as well as answer a writing question in class.
