5th grade Teamwork

Happy Monday!

*MIDTERMS are coming home today!

Here is what we did today:

Math: We did a review in class over skills that they should have learned in fourth grade. We answered questions and discussed some test taking tips for ISTEP.

Science: We watched a video on the Water Cycle and the Ocean.

Social Studies: We took a test over chapter one. They were allowed to use their books for part of the test.

In Mrs. D's class we took a spelling pretest over unit 5. The book will be due on Friday. We went to the computer lab and did an activity about Flag Day. We listened to some of Small Steps, the sequel to Holes. We also filled out the front cover of our ISTEP books. We visited the library!

In Mr. H's class we continued reading The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankwieler. We completed our front cover of our ISTEP books. We look our spelling list and the workbook was assigned and it is due on Friday.

In Mr. P's class the spelling unit 5 was assigned and our books will be due on Friday. We completed the front cover of our ISTEP books. We also went to the library for the first time. We began reading Running Out of Time our first novel.
