5th grade Teamwork

Happy Friday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: In Math we did a Math Lib sheet with story problems. There were 12 problems to complete.

Science: We talked about the water cycle in class today. They need to study their notes.

Social Studies: In class today we viewed a video on 9/11. The students were very eager to watch and learn. We will have a test on Monday.

In Mrs. D's class we worked on common and proper nouns. We went to the computer lab and we took our final spelling test. We also discussed sentence fragments.

In Mr. H's class we had our spelling final test and dictation test. We also wrote a friendly letter today. We discussed simple predicates in English. We began reading The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Baisl E. Frankwieler.

In Mr. P's class we took a vocab and comprehension test in reading. We took a helping verb test and our final spelling test. We also reviewed simple and complete predicates. We finished printing in the computer lab. HUGE Vocab test will be on Monday.
