Happy Thursday!
Here is what we did today:
Math: Today in Math we had our first official problem set. We discussed vocabulary and properties of multiplication. Problem set 15 was assigned and is due on Friday.
Science/Health: We learned about friends and family. We had a drawing conclusions sheet to do as homework.
Social Studies: Today we discussed terms and we began chapter 1 pages 18-23.
In Mrs. D's class we read chapters 8 and 9 in The City of Ember and we took a quiz over the vocabulary so far. We also had a comprehension sheet and we worked on breaking the code. We turned in our spelling books today and we will have our final test on Friday. We worked on our rough draft of our My Summer Vacation Stories.
In Mr. H's class we read pages 75-90 in the Wish Giver. We also had a quiz over what we have read so far. For spelling g we went over pages 8-10 and then we studied for tomorrow's test. We also had a paragraph correction sheet.
In Mr. P's class we discussed the end of the story questions from the Michelle Kwan story. We had a great discussion. In spelling we did page 11. We will have our final test tomorrow. We also had a worksheet on common and proper nouns and singular and possessive nouns. The students need to be ready to edit their room papers tomorrow in class.
