5th grade Teamwork

Happy Monday!

Here is what we did today:

Math: We discussed problem solving strategies using the strategy of making a table. We also discussed multiplying multiple numbers and missing numbers in multiplication. Problem set 18 was assigned and is due on Tuesday.

Science/Health. We discussed dealing with misunderstood feelings and we started to complete a chart together

Social Studies: Today we discussed chapter 1 lesson 2 discussing bodies of water. Pages 26 and 27 were covered.

In Mrs. D's class we read chapters 12 in The City of Ember and we had an activity on cause and effect to do. . We had a spelling pretest over unit 2 words and we went to the computer lab. We will peer edit our papers on Tuesday.

In Mr. P's class we finished plural possessive nouns. We began vocabulary and began reading LaBamba our next story in the book. We edited papers in groups and we will publish them on Wednesday. We took our spelling unit 2 pretest and pages 14-18 were assigned and are due on Friday.

In Mr. H's class we read pages 104-121 in the Wish Giver. We did a writing activity dealing with our story and we also had a paragraph correction sheet to complete. We wrote our spelling words three times each and our pretest will be tomorrow.
